Given past experience, the decision has been made to tighten up on inspection of papers accompanying the animals. According to regulation 935/2004 originals should accompany the animal for both animal and original to be inspected in Keflavík airport. If the owner cannot provide the original the animal will be sent back to the country of origin. Owners are encouraged to put the originals in waterproofed envelope on the animal cage to speed up the processing of the animals in Keflavík airport.
